Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Growing up it was a tradition in my house to have sausage balls on Christmas morning. Last year, I decided to start that tradition in my own home with my family and also added Monkey Bread to the menu. Here are the recipes I use:. 1 lb mild sausage (I use 1/2 lb mild and 1/2 lb hot). 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese. 1/3 cup water if needed, but no more. This is Pillsbury's recipe). 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar. 3/4 cup butter, melted.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Last year I came across a super easy craft that turned out really well, so I thought I'd share. I especially like that you can keep it simple and get kids involved or you can step it up a notch if you're feeling extra creative. Empty glass ornament balls, preferably with wide openings. If you'd like to do handprints on them, make certain they are large enough for the child's handprint. Fine glitter, any color(s). Martha Stewart brand is a little expensive, but worked great.
