My Craft Empire: Halloween in Australia
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2012/10/halloween-in-australia.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Halloween really has not been a thing we do here. I remember only one party I went to in my youth. I don't remember if we even dressed up, but apple bobbing was involved - bloody difficult thing to do that apple bobbing. My parents and friend's parents were never interested in celebrating it, so. But of course, now we have a child in our midst it seems like a bit of fun, and another excuse for her to dress up. I am thinking that I may prepare earlier next year and ask the nei...

My Craft Empire: Someone Something Sunday over at Scrappy-Go-Lucky
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2011/02/someone-something-sunday-over-at.html
Sunday, February 20, 2011. Someone Something Sunday over at Scrappy-Go-Lucky. My friend Mandy has asked me to do a post on her Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog. For her Someone Something Sunday. and I have reproduced it here. Discontinued). This size of ribbon really gives the board nice coverage on the edge. I use mainly Doodlebug Design Inc. glitter paper as I find it cuts really well on the cricut and also WorldWin Double Mates cardstock as it cuts like absolute butter on the cricut - love it, love it! Once I go...

My Craft Empire: Oct 5, 2013
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2013_10_05_archive.html
Saturday, October 05, 2013. I have been inspired recently to scrap and papercraft more, and to blog more often . let me explain. In June as I was faffing about on the internet, reading blogs and looking at crafty goodness, I followed a link to The Paperclipping Roundtable. Now, as an old fuddy-duddy of 43 I hadn't really heard about Podcasts. But I thought I'd give it a listen. I was intrigued by a lot of what they said. And now I wish I had taken note of who directed me to it). I talk about " ephemera.

My Craft Empire: Witch's Broom
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2012/11/witchs-broom.html
Friday, November 02, 2012. I do have to say Halloween was fun. Miss J dressed up and we went to a friend's place. There were five girls all dressed up and four houses in the street answered the door to the trick-or-treaters. We then went back to Mandy's. House and she'd done a great job of making some Halloween treats. The home made broom was a hit. Mandy's food . and great haunted house (made by her friend). Eyeballs - love it! 05 November, 2012 07:59. I love the broom! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

My Craft Empire: Christmas packed away
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2013/01/christmas-packed-away.html
Saturday, January 05, 2013. After it took me nearly three weeks to get around to finishing off putting the baubles on the tree all it took was one day to pack Christmas away. It had to be done, but it's always sad to say goodbye to the Christmas season. I normally try and put all my decorations up on or just before 01 December, but this year I was so busy doing other things it took me ages because I was doing it one or two things at a time. When so you normally put your tree up and pull it down? Wall Dec...

My Craft Empire: The wedding card - Explosion Box
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2011/05/wedding-card-explosion-box.html
Wednesday, May 04, 2011. The wedding card - Explosion Box. We are home again after having an awesome time at the wedding (we stayed overnight there). The bride was beautiful, the function place was wonderful, much champagne was consumed and everyone had a great time. Miss Jessica was flower girl, so I will have to show you some pictures of that too. She did such a great version of this card/exploding box. I also used YouTube and watched various instruction videos. I used Stampin' Up! 08 May, 2011 03:57.

My Craft Empire: 2012 Personal Challenges recycled
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2013/01/2012-personal-challenges-recycled.html
Thursday, January 03, 2013. 2012 Personal Challenges recycled. I decided last year not to call them resolutions, so I called them my personal challenges (like a change of name would make it more likely that I would achieve them! So here we are in 2013 and since I failed to achieve 9 out of my 10 "personal challenges" I have decided to recycle them. Attend another Wedding Expo as a stall holder. Be a stall holder at the Up-Market in Perth (higher quality market). Start living outside my comfort zone.

My Craft Empire: Wall Decor - a little out of control
http://mycraftempire.blogspot.com/2010/10/wall-decor-little-out-of-control.html
Thursday, February 10, 2011. Wall Decor - a little out of control. I started off just wanting to put a few "Little Mermaid" characters on Miss J's walls. Oh dear I got a LITTLE out of hand! I used my Design Studio and made all the items different sizes. Ariel and the castle are made as big as I could with 12 x 24 paper . I mainly used the 12 x 24 cricut paper for all of this. All the different characters and pictures from the Little Mermaid - in the Dream Come True cartridge. 20 February, 2011 17:21.
