Sunday, July 15, 2007. A painting of Olive Trees. I have been painting mostly small pieces, I guess they can be called studies. At the gallery request I am making an effort to paint larger. This piece is 24x30".a huge expanse of canvas for someone used to paint 12x16" and smaller. A scary espanse of canvas to tell you the truth, very intimidating. Thursday, October 11, 2007. A month in Italy. It is time for my annual trip to Italy! Tuscany will be my first stop and Florence where I will stay, at my friend apartment in the hearth of the city. We intend to see the surrounding countryside. Last year we went to Siena and visited the surrounding small towns of Pienza, Certaldo, Monteriggioni,Montepulciano, San Gimignano.wonderful towns,wonderful countryside and wonderful food! This year we will go toward Arezzo and surrounding area. A month in Italy.
