A policeman wrote me up today for driving 35 in a 25 (In a bit of irony, it was for speeding on the same residential street where last week I bit the dust when my wife made me prove to her I could run faster than Michael Scott by sprinting past an LCD speed sign put there to warn people to drive slower! Friday, October 31, 2008. Last night was our ward Halloween party. Abby went as a baby bear and looked super cute. Her costume was so soft and cuddly that she fell asleep the second I put it on her and continued to sleep through almost the whole party. I'm thinking I should keep that costume around after Halloween and use it for nap time. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Abby is six weeks old today and I can't believe how fast she's growing! The contractions were 20 minutes apart, then 10, and then by 1 AM this morning, they were 5 minutes apart. Of course I only know this because Holly was wisely adamant with me. Monday, March 16, 2009. A few weeks ago I finished my first quilt. Thanks to my friend, Bekki, who showed me how to do it and walked me through the whole process. Most of our time was spent cutting out all the pieces and sewing them together. Then we went to a woman's house in our stake who owns a machine quilter.which was awesome! A different design is stitched into each colored square. Looping lines are on the white pieces. Abigail" is stitched into the bottom corner of the quilt. Adam and Kandis Barlow.
