My motto, and I'd be surprised if I were the first one to notice this, is that lots of little wins adds up to a big one at the end. Monday, September 1, 2008. I was told this morning that I hadn't blogged about working out/losing weight in quite a while. There's a reason that this is the case, and it's mainly because I was feeling a little narcissistic about always detailing how I'm trying to change myself and look better. It was beginning to feel like one of those crappy reality shows where some 'celebutant' is trying to better herself and expecting us all to enjoy watching/reading about it. Deep thoughts with no credibility. Most of us love the super hero concept. It doesn’t matter if its from movies, comics, TV, video games, or any where else you may get your super hero kicks. But why? Do we have some void in our life causing us to have this draw? Why do we have that hidden desire every time we watch a super hero on the screen to be that? Or is it ability to protect others? Maybe if we had the honer and integrity of a super hero we would respect ourselves more? Maybe I’m just childish.
