Friday I was lucky enough to skip the days classes so I could go on a field trip with the second year students to Kyoto. I'm not even gonna try to explain what it is and how it works, because I don't really understand it myself. I just know the basics about how to make one, and personally, I think they look really cool....

It appears that someone broke into my motorbike over the weekend. I was down in Kyoto over the weekend so I parked my bike Saturday afternoon at a local train station. It's only a 5 litre tank and it couldn't have been more than half full at the time, so I can only wonder who steals 300 yen of gasoline?

Since I had the opportunity to sing along with students of one of my schools, I did not get to take many pictures of the music part of the festival.
