Thursday, May 02, 2013. First Batch of Kefir. Looks like it should. Lighter than the water I started with. I started a new sugar water batch and let it cool to room temp then filtered the water kefir into a 2nd jar and strained out the kefir grains to add to the new sugar water. I'll let the first batch ferment for a day or so before tasting it. I haven't figured out if I want to or how I want to flavor the water. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, October 09, 2007. Well, after a silent 2 1/2 months, all I can say is opps. Prague was AMAZING. Slightly creepy and overwhelming at first as we were taking the train through the Czech Republic, but it was better once we hit Prague. The city was incredibly beautiful, but it was the only place that we had been to in which neither of us knew any bit of the language. Little scary. But the trip was wonderful. And the commute for me is great. Only 15-20 minutes. 16 October, 2007 23:59.
