Wordsmith-not: November 2012
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 11, 2012. I've had a long-standing love affair with this famous coffee shop. From the very first cup of Cafe Latte (yes, I remember the first cup of coffee I ordered, since I was a noob, I played safe) to their latest blended drink- Salted Caramel Mocha- I've never wavered in my affection for this java megacorp. What got me excited was the new colors that the planners came in. Green is my favorite color and will definitely get that planner.soon. Only 16 more coffees to go! Awesome Inc...

Wordsmith-not: September 2012
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 9, 2012. Artemis Fowl The End. I clearly remember the very first time I came across Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl. I was looking for alternatives after reading Harry Potter's 4th installment. I didn't want to be idle while waiting for book 5 to come out (which did take long, by the way), so I searched and searched for a good HP-like series and found Artemis Fowl. Artemis Fowl the First Book. I was instantly hooked. It was like Harry Potter, but it really wasn't. Haha! Now, the last book of...

Wordsmith-not: KNATION 2014: UKISS in Manila
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2014/10/knation-2014-ukiss-in-manila.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. KNATION 2014: UKISS in Manila. Last October 5, KNATION Music Showcase 2014. Was held at the SMX Convention Center in MOA. It showcased 5 Kpop groups with the main act being UKISS. The other 4 were MPire, Bigstar, 4 Ladies, and Winners Crew (a dance group). I know of MPire and Bigstar because I've seen them on M Countdown, and Feeldog, leader of Bigstar, as a guest on KBS's Dream Team. This is the first time I've of 4 Ladies and Winners Crew though. How could I have missed this?

Wordsmith-not: September 2013
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 20, 2013. In preparation for my sojourn to the land of Kpop and Kdrama, I find myself browsing through countless blogs, travel sites, and OTAs (online travel agencies). Though I've yet to look for must-visit attractions and must-buy items, there are certain things I want to do when I'm in South Korea, particularly in Seoul. I've had the pleasure of tasting bibimbap. 2 Stay in a Hanok. Even for just a night, I would like to experience a stay in a hanok. A traditional Korean house with wo...

Wordsmith-not: One Direction: Stockholm Syndrome
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2014/12/one-direction-stockholm-syndrome.html
Monday, December 8, 2014. One Direction: Stockholm Syndrome. After watching a re-run of One Direction: This Is Us on HBO. One weekend, I decided to seek out some of the songs I heard on the movie, particularly Change My Mind. This song from their first album Take Me Home. Which I somewhat like (what the heck is "somewhat"? I ended up getting all their album. From their latest, FOUR, I especially like- no, love- Stockholm Syndrome. For the melody, of course, not the lyrics! Comic strips to make you smile.

Wordsmith-not: March 2014
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2014. Book Review: First Grave on the Right. This is the cover of my ebook. I wanted to give this a 5 out 5 star rating because I really enjoyed the book. Proof of that is the length of time it took me to finish the book: 2 days. That's despite of the fact that I have an 8-5 job and a total of 4 hours commute to contend with. Charley was snarky, witty, apparently beautiful, and a grim reaper. Yeah, kind of reminds me of, first, Bleach. You know, soul reaper), second, Grimm. I just thoug...

Wordsmith-not: July 2013
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 8, 2013. Books: Recently Read and Currently Reading. I've been on a book slump for about a month now, so I'm already 1 book behind my Goodreads Book Challenge. Of 40 books for 2013. This is still after reading 2 books in a row: James Rollins' Black Order. And Nyrae Dawn's Charade. To try to catch up, I breezed through The Art Forger by B.A. Shapiro. I've also just finished, barely, Crash by Nicole Williams. What can I say? It was a so-so book. I had a few cringe moments and many times I'...

Wordsmith-not: Inhale, Exhale. I Heart Balm for All Seasons.
http://wordsmith-not.blogspot.com/2014/11/inhale-exhale-i-heart-balm-for-all.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. Inhale, Exhale. I Heart Balm for All Seasons. For the longest time, I've turned to my Chinese mentholated stick for all minor ailments, specifically headaches and migraines- which I used to get a lot of. It's also my go-to medicine for insect bites, stuffy nose, and biyahilo. Motion sickness). And it works. Amazingly enough. You'll feel a little bit of heat when you put in on your skin, but will not make your eyes water like the mentholated stick. Labels: balm for all seasons.
