Saturday, April 28, 2012. Today was our 11th wedding anniversary! Thanks to my mom watching my kids, we were able to spend most of the day together. Here are some pictures of our day:. We just did small gifts this year. We have a lot of things coming up that we have to pay for so we went a little easy. I got Ronnie season 1 of Man Woman Wild. Ronnie got me Adele's cd that I don't have, and a Norah Jones cd. I used to have the Norah Jones one but it got scratched really bad. Me by a really pretty fountain.

Sunday, February 27, 2011. Here are a few things I came away with from Idea Camp:. Man made orphanages for orphans; God made families for orphans. As foster and adoptive parents, we need to be careful not to make idols of our biological children. We as the church need to not let adoption/foster care become the next "fad". Adoption is a calling; orphan care is a mandate. We should be running to the broken places, because that is where we find God. Discarded things still have value. Links to this post.

The kids did amazing, and really enjoyed the art more than I thought they would.
