#LovingOthers #LovingMyself #SeeingPeopleasBeautiful #BeingSeenasBeautiful | The Incidental Processes

8230;of a Bethie. LovingOthers #LovingMyself #SeeingPeopleasBeautiful #BeingSeenasBeautiful. April 12, 2014. April 12, 2014. Where is this coming from? Good question. At church we were given a query to ponder. My brain loves to go a’pondering! However, my brain can seriously screw up a perfectly good ponder which is why I process verbally or in writing. Getting out of MY head is a very good thing. The question was this:. How do/should I embody Christ’s love and freedom in my actions toward? But I’m...

8230;of a Bethie. Fight for Your Right to Faaaacebook! April 13, 2014. May 12, 2014. If you didn’t read that title with Beastie Boys tune “(You Gotta) Fight for your Right (to Paaaarty)” then go back and do it again. Got it? Going to tackle the larger issue of appropriate use of social media. However, I am going to link it back to my previous post on loving others. There is something to be said for sharing a tough experience, then getting several comments from others that you are not alone, it’s ha...
Embracing Awkward | The Incidental Processes

8230;of a Bethie. May 13, 2015. May 13, 2015. Most of us avoid awkward moments as fervently as I avoid having to spell it. (I am seriously paranoid about spelling awkward incorrectly, even when my spellchecker says it’s correct.) Whether it’s the Costco gas attendant handing you back your driver’s license and asking gently “Do you happen to have a Costco card, ma’am? 8221; or a more poignant moment when the barista in Safeway innocently asks “Are you a Mom? I hope that I can stop fearing the awkward mome...

Are You Listening, Geraldine? | The Incidental Processes
https://incidentalprocesses.wordpress.com/2014/05/10/are-you-listening-geraldine
8230;of a Bethie. Are You Listening, Geraldine? May 10, 2014. May 12, 2014. I think we all want that; we are wired that way. We are designed to get through life together. People want to be heard and understood- it’s part of being known. Then why are most of us such crappy listeners? The motivation is different. And yes, while I am queen of sometimes over-analyzing my personal motivation until my thoughts are spinning in a circle, it’s still good to stop and check ourselves now and then. Apply that analys...

Our stories and adventures as we begin many journeys together. Skip to primary content. Poems and a Brief Update. May 8, 2014. Here are a couple of poems, the only real writing I have been able to manage in months. The first I wrote in October, when we knew that Mom’s Homecoming was approaching soon. The second I wrote a couple of weeks ago. Mommy’s Going Home. November 6, 2013. I started this on October 26 and finished it today. My mommy’s going home soon,. Though we pray for her to stay. May 1, 2014.

Incidental Ramblings Blogpost
Kim and Patrick's Travel Adventures. Saturday, August 8, 2009. We hiked up to the summit of Croagh Patrick. This is the steep conical mountain that is where Ireland's famous Saint Patrick supposedly camped out on four forty days. The day before we climbed the peak, 35,000 people came for the annual pilgrimage hike to the summit to follow St. Patrick's footsteps. The weather was cold, windy, and raining on our hike up to summit. Kim taking a stroll down the road at sunset. Celtic carvings from a tombstone...
