Snapshots of a Modest Life
http://sleeprequired.blogspot.com/2004/09/just-stuff-today-has-been-blah-kind-of.html
Monday, September 13, 2004. From the Production Handbook. It was mostly about fire safety, what to do in case of a fire, stuff like that. Stay calm and run for your life was basically the gist of it. AND FOR THE LOVE OF PETE, WHY HAVEN'T I GONE TO THE POST OFFICE YET? MTV kept me company while I ate my lunch, then I went upstairs and took a nap before my. After that, everything has been "blah." And this has been my "blah" day. Buy a llama. September 15, 2004 at 11:56 AM. I'm not taking any grammar or syn...

Snapshots of a Modest Life: Summertime and the Living is Easy
http://sleeprequired.blogspot.com/2011/06/summertime-and-living-is-easy.html
Saturday, June 25, 2011. Summertime and the Living is Easy. But I'm worried that despite my good intentions, I will keep staying up way too late (it's only 2 AM, this is not late! And spending way too much time lying in bed doing, well, nothing. So I figured, maybe I should blog about it. Because nothing sucks more than getting to August and realizing I haven't really done anything with my summer other than play video games and sleep. Here's to a productive summer. Random Progressions of Communication: the schools
http://dezheck.blogspot.com/2010/07/schools.html
Random Progressions of Communication. July 3, 2010. Venezuela is an amazing place. The people are INCREDIBLY friendly. It is the easiest thing to get into conversations and easy to talk to people about Jesus and easy to practice Spanish. However, there is one hard thing: getting somewhere on time. "on time" is relative. We have all learned, as a team, to be incredibly flexible. Some things happen. Many things don't. Other opportunities always come up. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Snapshots of a Modest Life
http://sleeprequired.blogspot.com/2005/03/heroes-idols-and-mentors-one-of-my.html
Wednesday, March 23, 2005. Heroes, Idols and Mentors. One of my roommates subscribes to Rolling Stone Magazine and leaves it in the bathroom for everyone's toilet reading. Garbage in, garbage out as they say. On the cover of the March issue is not a scantily clad songstress with bleached blond hair and an eating disorder; nor is it a platinum record selling band with a political agenda and a sour expression (question: why isn't anyone ever smiling on the cover of Rolling Stone? All of this brought me to ...

Snapshots of a Modest Life
http://sleeprequired.blogspot.com/2004/11/home-for-weekend-this-weekend-i-went.html
Sunday, November 07, 2004. Home for the Weekend. This weekend I went home for the first time since school started. It was a nice (if brief) vacation from the life which I lead in. A computer program which is meant to entertain one person at a time brings my brother and I closer together. How sweet. And Fiona Apple's Tidal. And listening to Aida. Yeah, I know, I'm a loser. But well, as previously stated, it's bonding time. Hey so what's up w/ putting down the female mind? November 8, 2004 at 2:52 PM.

Random Progressions of Communication. April 27, 2010. Helping my Mom Pack. Every time my mom travels I sit on her bad and help her back. Or really help her decide what to take and what to leave behind. It's a good exercise in spacial thinking, decision making, balancing cost and gain and then add in a zing of fashion. Put it all together and twala! You have a week to a month's worth of clothes stuffed in a suit case and one more mother/daughter experience completed. April 22, 2010. I played some sand vol...

Snapshots of a Modest Life
http://sleeprequired.blogspot.com/2004/09/sledding-part-2-before-reading-this.html
Monday, September 20, 2004. Before reading this you might want to check out the first part. Upon discovering the minefield of cow pies, my brothers and I prepared to attack the hill like never before. We knew that getting down the hill would take shrewd negotiations of the cow pies, we would have to steer. Our first attempts were miserable failures. We would start down the hill doing some strategic leaning, and end up with our faces in the snow. I discovered this phenomenon the hard way. Sound, and, well...
