Clearly this book left an impression, which is why 4 years later I remembered it and decided to read it. Turns out that this was a book I couldn't put down and sped through because I had to know exactly how everything developed. This book prompted interesting discussions between the boy and I something I wouldn't have expected. I...

Kisses and Dandelions: August 2014
http://kissesanddandelions.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. The Time Has Come - For 1st Grade! Yesterday was the first day back to school. I officially have a 1st grader! And since I have not been allowed to call Jocelyn a 1st grader all summer, it really is official! We've had a really fun summer and I'm going to miss my little shadow, but she's so ready to get back to school! Will I like the teacher? How will I know how to find my classroom? So much of her worry was about the unknowns of the first day. This year, I knew it meant securi...

Jocelyn and I had been there together last year, but this time Pat came with us and it was such a great day! Feeding the baby goats. Riding the cow train. One of her all time favorite slides! Hatching from our egg. Labels: Jocelyn - with Daddy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My life as a Mommy and a Wife. View my complete profile. Adven...

Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Summer Part 2 - But not the last! Our summer fun continues! The next day we joined our friends again for another adventure on our history tour. This time we went to an open house at a colored school that was used in the early 1900's. Once again, the kids had a ball, and we learned so much! We got to see what it was like to go to school a hundred years ago in a school with no bathroom, no computers, and all grades together in one room. Those kids had it tough! The Applied Physics L...

I also have the encouragement of a dear friend. Who is the Beach Body coach and about 20 people in our group who are also doing similar “fixes” for the next 21 days! Note: A support group is priceless. Easily be incorp...

Wrestling Kitties: The Day Our Life Changed Forever.
http://wrestlingkitties.blogspot.com/2011/09/day-our-life-changed-forever.html
Recipes and Weight Loss. Thursday, September 29, 2011. The Day Our Life Changed Forever. Ok, so maybe the title is a tinge dramatic, but it is the honest to God truth. The day our son was born was the day our life changed and we knew nothing would ever be the same. It was the day we felt a love we had never felt before and the day we experienced the purist form of happiness. It was the day we met the most amazing little guy EVER and we got to hold and see this little miracle that Terry and I created.
