Aside from that, my cooking has been pretty boring lately - stir fries, soups, and a little take-away due to exam stress, etc. Winter holidays soon though. Friday, April 2, 2010. Jade took me out to the Green Edge in Enoggera today - the only all-vegan grocery store (to my knowledge) in Brisbane. The 10-15 minute bus ride out of the city is well worth it. I spent almost $50 on pepperoni, Cheezly, Tofutti mozzarella, white chocolate chips, schnitzels, and all of the stuff that this city is lacking! They also gave me free chai upon arrival and a $10 gift voucher. So killer! Shop 3/191 Wardell Street, Enoggera. Please support this store if you can!

I made my favourite savoury pumpkin pie with Mikel the Pastry Lord's help, and Lena whipped up a delicious roast vegetable salad, hot flat bread and falafels! March 21, 2010 at 9:56 PM. Monday, April 5, 2010. Last night we had Murdoch and Jade over to watch 'Near Dark' and feast. I made some damn good lasagne, but forgot to take a photo before it had been half-demolished, as you do. So onto dessert, which I did photograph:. Mint, walnut and white chocolate brownies. 1 2/3 c. granulated sugar. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 1 1/3 c. flour. 1/2 tsp. baking powder. 1/2 tsp. salt. 3/4 cup chopped walnuts. Stir butter, sugar, and water together in a medium bowl, and add No Egg and extracts.

I have the powder! Cha powder that is. Been meaning to make some form of green tea (matcha) cupcake for awhile. Finally bit the bullet and ordered it online as every asian grocer I've been to either doesn't have it or is just hiding is very well. Pretty happy with how these turned out. The green tea flavor. Vegan Matcha Lemon Cupcakes. 1 cup soy milk. 1 tsp apple cider vinegar. 1 1/4 cups plain flour. 1 tbsp matcha powder. 3/4 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/3 cup canola oil. 3/4 cup white sugar.

These little babies aren't exactly going to get all the ooo's. At first glance one might be searching for when taking a batch of cupcakes to friends but they sure are tasty. They rise a lot more like muffins making them rather uneasy on the eyes but isn't that why the baking gods invented frosting? I've made quite a lot of peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes in my time but these were a pretty different. Spin off. The ball of peanut butter in the middle I think needs some. In the park I'm pretty happy.
