Didi Matthews, PT, DPT, NCS. In clinical practice, Dr. Matthews has worked in the home health and outpatient settings and has served as an intervention therapist on a multi-center trial investigating the efficacy of physical therapy interventions including body weight supported treadmill training in individuals post-stroke. She enjoys working with adults with neurologic disorders and has a special interest in investigating issues of walking, balance, and falls. Shari MacDonald, PT, DPT.

Punch at Parkinson’s Boxing Class. Boxing training has been shown to improve balance, gait, everyday activities, and quality of life in persons with Parkinson’s disease. On top of these great benefits, it is a whole lot of fun! Join us for eight Wednesday evenings at 7pm, October 14 through December 9, as we punch and knock out Parkinson’s disease! We offer personalized evaluation and treatment sessions to help you in improving your mobility and functional abilities. Sessions utilize patient goals, current physical therapy research, and clinical expertise to assist us in evaluating a movement problem and designing a treatment program. Care is taken to communicate the findings of the evaluation with other health care providers. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length with direct care provided by a doctor of physical therapy.
