Emily Mower: Coming to Vegas
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2013/08/coming-to-vegas.html
Saturday, August 24, 2013. I couldn't figure out how to invert the order of the pictures, so we'll start with the strip and go back in time to the road trip to get to Vegas. This is (obviously) the Paris. We had an incredible time eating at a buffet here. In Jason's words, "I didn't know food could be such a spiritual experience." Yeah. It was that good. In honor of Celeste and Ben recently moving from New York! Her comment was, "Too bad it's not warm enough in NY for palm tress.". Jason and Lindsay Mower.

Emily Mower: July 2012
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. I never cease to be amazed. I was never the biggest fan of Salvation Army, having grown up mainly on Goodwill and Kids Count Too. But today I had a break through. As previously posted I have been on the search for jeans. This morning Mom told me we should go check out the 50% off sale at Salvation Army. YEAH. Half off everything that's already extremely cheap! Everything together cost $35 flat. Thank you bargain angel. Thursday, July 26, 2012. Yep, Mom picked all. Of those. And...

Emily Mower: November 2009
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 27, 2009. My photo of Holli and John-Miguel in the desert of San Pedro was in the Top 10! All the students in my program submitted photos from throughout the semester and the results were revealed in the Talent Show/Dinner on Wednesday night. Here's the photo :). Thursday, November 26, 2009. I volunteer at an orphanage and these are two of the precious little ones. The boy is Fransciso and the girl is Britania. So precious. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. At least it'll make a good story.

Emily Mower: October 2009
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. I went to a Halloween fiesta in the apartment of my friend from church. Halloween isn't such a big deal here in Chile. They just started celebrating it in the last 15 years because the USA celebrates it. It was a fun party though: yay for dancing! My through and through Chilean friends Sebastian and Kesley. They are quite entertaining. Just wanted to throw in this adorable picture. Forever always the friendship of la Holli, la Abby y la Emily! Thursday, October 29, 2009. It's ...

Emily Mower: July 2013
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 1, 2013. My favorite class this semester? Practical homemaking. We already had units on cooking and home decorating. Now I'm in the most stressful part. It's stressful because it's something I've never done and never thought I'd be able to do: sewing. But, lo and behold, skills can be LEARNED when taught! What a concept. Here's my first project. Emily Mower: September 2012
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Now that I'm back in school, I'm reading textbooks a lot. I think a favorite pass-time for professionals is to come up with ridiculous acronyms, especially for the education department. The most ridiculous one I've seen yet? SWBAT It means "students will be able to". Is that SUCH a long phrase that we can't write it out in the textbook? Wow PWBAT (professionals will be able to) make stuff more complicated than it needs to be. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jason and Lindsay Mower.

Emily Mower: January 2010
http://emilymower.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. The Salt Lake Temple is absolutely beautiful. The snow makes it look like a castle. But, we all know, it's much more special than a castle. I saw this amazing photo op and Celeste brought it to fruition beautifully. My nephew (aka the cutest little boy ever). Look at his face compared to my finger. So tiny! Okay, okay. People act a little funny sometimes around babies. But it's so fun! I love him so! The sleeping little angel. This was my first time holding him. Ahhhhh.
