Incredible Edible Tea Party. The Rose Garden Tea Party came into being as part of Kew's summer season 2013. Focusing on the wonders of edible plants, visitors can get up close and personal to the living ingredients that make up a quintessential British tea party. The fundamental idea behind the table is to portray botanical information in a fun and theatrical way; a feast for the eyes enticing people to learn about the plants that make the food products they come into contact with every day.

Incredible Edible Tea Party. There are 40 place settings at the table, and each one needed to be planned right down to the saucer. We used traditional woodworking methods to build the table. Incredible Edible Tea Party. The tea party can be found in the Rose Garden at the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew. It is part of their Incredible Edible summer festival. Which launches on 25th May 2013 and runs until 3rd November. The tea party is a project conceived and created by Kirsti Davies, a community artist based in Hackney, London.
