The Things That Mark Sees. Who cares what I think? Antigay religion: How Catholics and evangelicals are coming to accept same-sex marriage. There will always be Christians, Muslims, and Jews who condemn homosexuality. There will be bigots, bashers, and demagogues. Chapter 3

http://cqg.livejournal.com/tag/reflection

Jan 13th, 2015 at 6:24 PM. Years have come and gone. This is my journal - A doesn't even read it (to my knowledge). So my thoughts are my own. My dreams are my own and shared with very few since social networking has moved on. Here I can articulate thoughts that I wouldn't dream of posting on FB. My 3 children have launched well - hard to believe my oldest will be 38 this year. My prayers and hopes for my middle child is to find a partner in life who is worthy. These are the things I value. I had lunch a...

Jan 23rd, 2010 at 5:27 PM. Facebook has assimilated me. Dang. That and I can't access livejournal from work so in the moments when I might do some reflection, I don't have the ability to do it. I think there's a way to post via email . will have to check that out. My paid membership elapsed so I logged on today to reinstate. It's a gray, warm (22C), humid day in Houston. I did get some cleaning done so feel good about that. I want to see 2012 and Avatar (in 3D) at some point but haven't figured o...Thank...

On A Holiday - Chapter 3

http://cqg.livejournal.com/369155.html

Sep 3rd, 2009 at 5:43 PM. I've been in the UK since the 26th. I hung out with Charlie for a day then headed back towards Heathrow to hire a car and left for Cheltenham Friday morning. Greenbelt was wonderful, as per usual. Good friends, thought-provoking talks, unexpected serendipity, good music, good beer, good food, excellent weather, very little mud and so forth. I came back to London on Tuesday to work for a customer for a few days before heading down to Brighton for the weekend. The Ship of Fools.

March 9th, 2015. Plans for Moving Forward. Mar 9th, 2015 at 12:07 PM. We met with a realtor yesterday and now we have a plan to get the house on the market by the end of the month. If all goes well, we should sell and close by end-of-May. We've talked through the options for the move. We're pretty certain that our target is the west side of Puget Sound (Olympic Peninsula) or the islands, whatever comes up that meets our criteria. Step-daughter and her husband seem to be getting on well. He's employed...

Greenbelt 2009 - Chapter 3

http://cqg.livejournal.com/369451.html

Sep 9th, 2009 at 9:23 PM. I had lunch at James' with Trev and had a relaxing and refreshing start to the weekend. It was good to catch up and James is the host-with-the-most. The food was great and the day was sunny and perfect for enjoying in the conservatory that serves as James' dining room. There was a SoF social gathering in the beer tent at 18.30 and I ended up meeting some folks from GCN there too. There were about 10-12 people from GCN at the festival that I ran into throughout the weekend. Dave ...

Thoughts on health, disability, paleo, and life from a former scientist conquering MS and RA. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. October 28, 2016. It’s been awhile since I posted anything. I found that it was better for me to sit among my flowers drinking green tea rather than sitting in front of a computer blogging or tweeting. In short, I stopped writing to focus on living. I may have been focusing on living, but my past crept up on me resulting in this post. Is your green tea safe?
