Macon it with the Meyer's: September 2011
http://maryjanemeyer.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 5, 2011. Out With The Old. So I keep talking about us moving out of our first apartment, but I never put up pictures of what it looked like. Being the hopeless nostalgic one, I made sure to take lots of pictures before we started packing up our beloved first home. BUT now, after beginning our "settling in" process, we are loving the new house and having fun figuring it out together. We are next door and across the street from some of our dear friends - just icing on top of the cake!

Of course my sentimental self couldn't resist putting up some pictures from this time last year. Here are a few of my favorites. This is right after we exited the Sanctuary! One of the sweetest moments of the day: with my Daddy right before I walked down the aisle :). This may be my favorite! My Pretty Girls :). It was a perfect day! Honeymoon Dinner in Cancun. http://maryjanemeyer.blogspot.com/2012/10/playing-catch-up.html
Monday, October 15, 2012. So It's been a super long time since I've visited this blog for anything other than to remember that it exists. Oops. such is life. Speaking of life, Greg and I are all settled in and enjoying Jackson. As predicted, we still miss our Georgia friends terribly. I can't believe we've been away for six months. Life moves way too fast. Greg is working with youth at our church and having a blast. He has also started seminary classes. Good work, MJ! 2 I work at Mississippi Magazine!

http://maryjanemeyer.blogspot.com/2011/07/back-to-school-back-to-school.html
Monday, July 18, 2011. Back to School, Back to School. To prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I've got my lunch packed up and my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight.". Come on, Billy Madison. Greg had his first day of school on Friday. (It actually was his third day, but my camera and I were not there. Hence, Day 3 = Day 1). What do you mean, MJ, that this is Greg's first day of school? So, we drove up to ATL. And I dropped G off for his two-hour class. The new RTS building. Posted by Mary Jane.

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Breakfast and a Silly Old Bear. This weekend, my loving husband took me on a morning date to celebrate my new job, am style. For breakfast, we went to my favorite food spot in Macon - The Fountain of Juice. Also known as "the foj," "f-o-j," or "fountain." It is the best place to lunch with a friend or find a plethora of North Macon moms. But really, it is amazing! Everything is organic and local as much as possible. After breakfast, I was treated to see Winnie the Pooh. You should...

Green Bean Casserole! | gritsandgrains
https://gritsandgrains.wordpress.com/2011/12/05/green-bean-casserole
Today’s Top 9. A healthy alternative to classic southern cooking. So those who have been following me for a while know that my favorite trick is to take an otherwise fattening casserole and make it healthy. This week I decided to tackle a holiday favorite, green bean casserole. To add flavor, I increased the amount of pepper and also used garlic powder. I think it added a little more to the background flavors of the dish and was a much more waist-line friendly substitute. And it was a huge hit! I think y...
