India-a-go-go!

Saturday, March 17, 2007. Jaisalmer - middle of the Desert. We are in Jaisalmer (pop 50,000) in the Thar Desert. Its hot and dusty! This is me at Jaisalmer Fort and on one of the balconies at our Guest House - which looks back at the Fort. We are 100km from the Pakistan/India border. Tomorrow we do an overnight Camel Safari in the desert! Dust Train to Jaisalmer. 6 hours through the Thar desert by train (in local class) = a LOT of dust. The deep fried stuff was my breakfast (ugh). First night in Jodhpur.

Saturday, March 17, 2007. First night in Jodhpur. First night in Jodphur our Guest House was double booked so late at night we went on a mission for a place to stay. Found a. Basic Haveli and the guy mentioned that recently Owen Wilson and Adrian Brody stayed there for some quiet time while filimg in Jodhpur (movie out soon apparently). Do PPPs really offer any advantage over the traditional procurement modes? Get started on an u...
