Marissa and I have escaped to Charlottesville for the weekend and we are, get this:. Staying in a B&B that is ON a vineyard. What magic is this? Oh, and the guy running it is a trained chef. I managed to finally watch the last three episodes of Once Upon a Time. The other week and now I need to catch up on Defiance, Under the Dome, Crossing Lines, and Motive. Im still massively on the fence with Defiance. I really, really wish I liked it more. July 26th, 2013. Basically it's a pile of meh for me.

I talked to my mother on the phone at lunch yesterday and when I told her I was making slow cooker meatloaf, her comment to me was something along the lines of .umm, but how are you gonna drain the grease from it? I dont think you can cook meatloaf in something that doesnt drain, cuz then it just sits in the grease all day. Obviously its supposed to cook in its own grease!
