Reflections of a Simple Mind - Selected Poetry of Rajashree Anand. May 14, 2013. The cauldron seers underneath. The melting pot fuses, fuels appetites. The culinary Malay twins are born,. Sprucing their sodden sky. Massive and everlasting they stand:. Piercing bluntly into sticky rice-clouds. They are chopsticks, not spoons! For the 'Sons of the Land'. Who bask in its boisterous segments. As artfully aligned to their heavens,. They fuel modest pride. They quench imported palettes. A symbol of nationalism.

Reflections of a Simple Mind - Selected Poetry of Rajashree Anand. Mar 29, 2011. Coded streams of data,. To sponge more and store. With every click, the mind. Rarely frugal: these fluctuations. Are plainly practiced by overuse. Fingers wander on pluses and minuses,. Focusing on that one infinite option. Justifying dislike and shuffling on. Blanking in and out. For vague seconds,. Uncontrolled levels of sound. Screeching like broken records. In di a logs a nd di ale cts. The tedious labour of thumbs,.

SAANDHYAM: Palestine Or Israel ?
http://saandhyamm.blogspot.com/2009/06/palestine-or-israel.html
Saturday, June 6, 2009. Don’t U see the dead bodies? In lovely land of sacrifice. Oh I hear the weeping child. I hear broken women…. But I cant see where it is. But they both bleed in same colour. Similar in their life and food. May B’cause I could not differ. Both at once when I see them. But I see their broken faces. With a mood of extreme lament. But their eyes were sharp that pierce. As they had something to raise! Some had to answer that mob dent chase. What for killing innocent us?

Reflections of a Simple Mind - Selected Poetry of Rajashree Anand. Jan 18, 2011. He sourced his ideas. Borrowed his metaphors,. Picked the best of his designs. He eliminated the inscrutable. He chose eclectic fabrics,. To sew deeper metaphors,. To suit his contemporary audiences. In a façade of patchwork,. He marked his new meaning. Raw silk for subtle emphasis,. Mirrors reflecting the original. To accentuate his own perspectives,. He made new patterns, stitches,. He etched his initials,. My Ode to Coffee.

Reflections of a Simple Mind - Selected Poetry of Rajashree Anand. Dec 21, 2011. RIP: Mrs. Ranganayaki Jagannathan. 20th December, 2011. In the gleam of your kohl bespectacled eyes. Was a glint of mischief,. A joyful smirk to grandpa’s banter. In your words, the sweetne. Of the kin you fed dearly,. With plentiful sweets and savories. In your actions, the purity. Of every heartfelt emotion. And stubborn love radiated. Before the wake of every busy dawn,. In the rumbles of tumblers and plates,. The Dance o...

SAANDHYAM: Silence
http://saandhyamm.blogspot.com/2011/04/silence.html
Tuesday, April 12, 2011. I quench my thirst. To transcript those lines. With a few simple dots. In the mood of silence. I imprint my silence. In black and white. On a piece of white paper. Hidden in my heart of magnetic stones. Dazzling in vibrant colors. April 26, 2011 at 1:08 PM. SAANDHYAM: Giant wheel
http://saandhyamm.blogspot.com/2011/08/giant-wheel.html
Saturday, August 6, 2011. Photo by Philip Jacob. As the giant wheel revolves in glee. In the shade of twilight. To outwit the earth's flight. In an unseen axis. For an unknown cause. He in his innocent persistence. To reach the top of that wheel. In a whim to pluck that jade. Playing hide and seek. Always with him in starry nights. October 13, 2011 at 6:54 AM. Hmmm what to do? SAANDHYAM: Smile
http://saandhyamm.blogspot.com/2009/06/smile.html
Saturday, June 6, 2009. I use to wear it so simply. The radiant armor, my pretty smile. One can see me as warrior. While I wear it brilliantly. I sometimes may conquer hearts. Consent, console and pardon. And sometimes I dagger hearts. And deflagrate the mind too fast. It won’t hide my glowing face. Nor it veil over my wish. But it hides my lurid look. My weeping eyes and face at times. Yet I stick to show my will. Brave and bold and stronger still. Hence I wear the armor! View my complete profile.
