Thursday, July 16, 2015. An unexpected summer highlight: from Eli. Three weeks ago, I went to do something we never knew came near us: a junior golf tournament for ages 10 and under! Walking to hole #2. Teeing off from hole #3. I chipped this onto the green. Putting on hole #3. The par-3 5th hole. I finished tied for second with a fourteen over par. It was a lot of fun! Tuesday, March 31, 2015. For the Boys: Life Lesson #2. Good choices bring good consequences. Bad choices bring bad consequences. Though easily comprehendable, this life lesson is one we all struggle with every day. So think long term when you are faced with a choice; don't just hastily choose what feels good. When you make the wrong choice, lean into humility instead of the blame game. When you make the right choice, thank God for growth. Similarly, what influence are you having on your relationships?

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. We had a good, long, full baseball season this year with our three players and their three teams. Eli found his baseball groove this year. He enjoyed playing second base and some pitching, and his batting average made serious improvements as the season progressed. He loved having teammates to talk Major League baseball with, and he could often be found watching friends' Little League games on nights when his team was off.
