Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Trekking the Himalayas. From the very beginning we knew that Derhadun was an adventure to get excited about. The bus ride here was long enough! Three tire changes and one new clutch later we arrived at the Derhadun base and were welcomed by the base director Lala into its lime green walls. This base has an atmosphere to it that made it feel like my kind of place. 1 Almost everyone walks around singing God s praises (in Hindi, Nepali, and English). The sky is blue.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for March, 2010. March 30, 2010. After three days of intense travelling, we finally arrived in Dharamsala earlier this morning. We’re staying at the YWAM base together with some locals, as well as a few swedish people. The base is far up in the mountains, in fact, as much as 2000m! We have the most incredible view, facing down the beautiful valley, as well as the Himalayas. Sunday we had a whole day layover in Kuala Lumpur,. From there, our trip went to Delhi.
