http://lizfletcherblog.blogspot.com/2012/08/notes-from-fire-pit.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. Notes from a fire pit. I took a friend new to Cape Town on a walk across the city. Ever-changing people, buildings and views make it feel like your're walking a cross section of the city. While we slowed our breathing, I looked over to a burnt out little pit just a few metres away. In it, I found this treasure:. Do nothing with this. Let me show you the mo...

My Own Parade: An ode to books
http://lizfletcherblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/ode-to-books.html
Monday, July 9, 2012. An ode to books. Last week I got an iPad and since then I've been merrily swishing, swiping and flipping around on a bright screen. Afterwards, there is a discussion and time for questions. So I hid in my office. Posted by Elizabeth Fletcher. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Outside KFC. Thursday, September 9, 2010. This is absolutely not a true story. And the woman drops suddenly behind the bed. Her knees hit the black tiles hard. "Fuckity fuck fuck! Posted by Elizabeth Fletcher. The question, "So where do you live? Always makes me cringe. Just a little bit. I say, "Disa Park". The usual response is, "Where's that? Then I have to resort to more colloquial terms with some trepidation. "The Pepper Pots. Up at the top of Vredehoek? You know, those three big towers?
