Here (in no particular order because blogger has changed things up and I can't figure out how to rearrange pictures) are some of the things we were up to in June. Caitlin finished first grade! We went in on the last day of school for a presentation put on by the kids and to look through their portfolios. That night I took the kids out for dessert to celebrate. At first I put a Canucks hat on him, but he yanked it off, threw it to the ground and declared loudly "I don't want to wear Uncle Brent's hat! Anyway, it kind of worked out for the best because all he did the entire time at the tree farm was run away from me, so the bright pink hat made him very easy to spot. Caitlin took her sweet time.

Our Life On Island. Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Well, I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would put a post up :) A couple weeks ago, my cousin and his girlfriend visited us from the mainland. Anywho, while they were here, D had to have emergency surgery to remove his appendix! I know it is a minor surgery, but I didn't like the idea of it happening to my husband! It all went well and he had surgery at 11 pm on a Sunday night and was discharged from the hospital at around 1 pm on Monday afternoon!
