Erfahrungen in einem Ausland. Day Trip to Kassel. Last Saturday my friends and I went to the town of Kassel in the northern part of Hessen, about two and a half hours by train from Frankfurt. The town, once the capital of Hessen, has many palaces and parks, so we spent a majority of the day hiking around and admiring the scenery. Thank God my bad-weather-while-traveling streak has finally broken! The two attractions we most wanted to see were Herkules. And Schloss Wilhelmshöhe. Posted by Ben Schroeder.
