A Journey through Twin Parenthood. October 15, 2013. Formula discrimination and reflux babies. I honestly never thought I would be discriminated against for NOT breastfeeding. For years, I have seen articles and signs supporting breastfeeding and heard of sit-ins at stores that weren’t breastfeeding friendly so I guess I figured those mothers were the ones being discriminated against. Well, it turns out it goes both ways. Since when is it okay to bash someone for formula feeding? September 10, 2013.

A Journey through Twin Parenthood. February 15, 2013. I’m being harassed. On Wednesday we went to the doctor for an ultrasound and checkup. After everything checked out at the ultrasound (woohoo! We asked the tech if she could check the genders for us. Just a guess we said. Anyway, she explained how she wouldn’t do it because this early it isn’t accurate at all–but then she proceeded to check anyway (? Some really good news though! The subchorionic hemorrhage is all but gone! February 12, 2013. Don’...

Today i bought waterproof mascara. Exploring the (in)fertility journey day-to-day. Today I Wasted Time. I just put her down and I hear her soft, sweet, zombie-like coos over the monitor as she babbles herself to sleep. It is otherwise silent in the house. The clock was moved back last night and the world is collectively sleepier than we should be at this hour. It is dark and cozy and there is something about tonight that feels sacred. What do you mean you don’t remember me from last month? Actually becom...

A Journey through Twin Parenthood. April 23, 2013. I am happy with the results of the ultrasound though. My cervical length is 4 cm which I’ve been told is good and I pray it stays that way. The babies look great too! Let’s see, what are my current symptoms:. Round ligament pain (defiinitely). Difficulty breathing if I have to walk too long or take steps. Lack of space in my stomach to actually eat much. Feeling as though my belly could explode at any moment (especially when both babies are pushing.
