Through infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, and trying again. Saturday, January 18, 2014. Birth Defects Prevention Month. I read somewhere the other day that January is National Birth Defects Prevention Month. While I had not heard that before, it fits perfectly with the post that I was looking to write today. I remember the 5 weeks of pure hell that followed. I will never forget 2/23/12 when the nurse told me that she, "had to go get the doctor because there was no heartbeat.". Thursday, January 16, 2014.
