After some trial and error in trying to install NumPy, SciPy, and Matplotlib, it appears the easier way to do it is via macports. I am using python 2.7, so I installed the corresponding versions. I already had gcc and gfortran installed. Sudo port install py27-numpy. Sudo port install py27-scipy. Sudo port install py27-matplotlib. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A rambling soul: life, technology, and everything there is. Saturday, December 31, 2011. 2011 will be over in a few hours. I was thinking of making a list of what I have achieved over the last year versus what I have failed/wanted to achieve. But then again, the year will be over, and instead of possibly sulking over the seemingly daunting outcome of the aforementioned list, why not just dust yourself off and start with new energy for the new year. Happy new year everyone! Hope you all have a great 2012.
