Meie kool asutati Eesti NSV Ministrite Nõukogu 2. juuli 1960. aasta määrusega nr. 290. Selle põhjuseks oli 1950-date aastate teisel poolel Eestit tabanud poliomüeliidi ehk lastehalvatuse epideemia. Koolis toimus laste poliomüeliidijärgne ravi ja õppetöö. 1963 aasta suvel teostati koolimaja rekonstrueerimine, II korrusele tehti juurdeehitus. 1964 aasta lõpuks valmis täielikult saal-võimla. 1996 aasta märtsis sai kool Interneti püsiühenduse. 1998 aasta kevadel lõpetas viimane keskkooli klass (35 lend).

From paper to water. With two pairs of helping hands it was rather pleasing act to glue on the forward deck. Thanks a lot, mates! Those freshly glued front deck stringers got nice and cozy overnight stay under this i-love-to-hassle-with-masking-tape tent. Bunks are ready for port hull. Now there will be some paint job (Tikkurila Temacoat RM40) and stringer job before gluing the decks on. Looking good, hopefully I could keep up the pace…. ONE HOUR TEST DRIVE. 30 EUR for one person / 50 EUR for two ( all prices include life vests, trapeze harnesses and waterproof bag). From paper to water. So, hull sides got finally glassed, therefore I decided to reward myself with little rudder play. Here is shot from trial fitting of rudder lashings. I like those simple and genius rudder fittings… There is some kind of primal pleasure in splicing rudder to the stern… and not paying some extra silver for expensive. Good old polynesian style.
