That is both easy and pleasurable to use. Unlike a book, an image is much better suited to experiencing online and Flickr does offer all the tools you need to manage and share images online – my favourite is the geotagging. Whiling away the hours. To the online collection via Flickr is an exciting development.

And it is a major player in meeting the information needs of millions of people who would have once asked a library. Clearly, the great strength of wikis is the community which supports it and I am not sure about the value of libraries using wikis which are not open for editing. These wikis are not harnessing the collective expertise of its users.
