Because Dan Lyons is Amazing! Laquo; Dan Lyons Responds, Sort Of. Off-Topic: Ask.com Being Prats. Yesterday, sitting on a train, I saw an “advert” for something called “information-revolution.org”. It was something about one company controlling the information on the web, or something, and that it’s bad, or something. Intrigued, I visited the “revolutionary” site, only to find it’s an advertising campaign for Ask.com. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0. From your own site.

The Three Things You Need to Succeed Online. Are market timing, passion, and a unique data source. If you have none of those you are screwed. Of course you can get by well with only one of them for a long time, but the more of them you have the more sustainable your business model will be. via. Posted by hookle @ 9:29 AM. Because Dan Lyons is Amazing! Archive for April, 2007. Laquo; Older Entries. Off-Topic: Encountering Windows Vista. Sunday, April 22, 2007. So, on Thursday, the 19th of April, I upgraded from Xubuntu. 610 to Xubuntu 7.04. On the very day of 7.04’s release. It was nice being able to do it over the internet, with no CDs to burn, and whatnot. It did not all go smoothly, though:-. The mouse stopped working. I had to choose an older kernel from GRUB’s boot menu to get a working mouse. Once the new laptop was ...

It’s like that. Recruitment consultant to stand as US presidential candidate. June 20, 2007. Have you ever seen a more unlikely headline? OK, perhaps I am being unfair, but like Britney said. That’s my prerogative. Over the last month or so I have had the dubious pleasure of taking a peek into the wonderful world of the recruitment consultant (“RCs” actually quite a fitting acronym). Here are two small examples by way of illustration:. Anyway, judge not lest ye be judged and all that. I have dealt wi...

Unconventional Marketing: April 2007
http://jbritz.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2007. I recently came across a viral video via WOM, and I am going to have to agree with my classmate Caitlins. Take on how viral videos can have an affect on the political scene. Although this particular one is just a madTV skit, it did create quite the buzz, as a professor of mine showed it to us class. The video can be seen on. you guessed it. YouTube. The skit parodies the war going on in Iraq and Iran as well as the growing conglomeration Apple has on there "i" family. However, I g...
