Here we go again. November 17, 2014. Once again, our teacher Aleksander told us that we were going to play a game in class. But, he also told us that this would be a little bit different from our latest gaming project. This project included communication with someone abroad. Not abroad like Sweden or Denmark. We are going to communicate and play with students living in CANADA, which i think is pretty cool. I’m excited to find out what happened with the family, and I can’t wait to keep playing. I think it...

Capital punishment – right or wrong? February 9, 2015. Whether capital punishment is right or wrong is a highly discussed topic around the world. There are several arguments on both sides, so it’s hard to know which side to choose. According to amnisty.no, there are still 58 countries that practice death penalty. 98 countries, including Norway, has withdrawn death penalty due to several reasons. I am sorry, but i didn’t have the time to finish due to some technical issues.). Gone home – review. Where wou...

Doomsday | annikenrebne
https://annikenrebne.wordpress.com/2014/09/30/doomsday
September 30, 2014. This i basically how i feel. But, even though I’m scared, I’m a little bit excited. I’m excited to see how this turns out, and who knows, maybe there is a hardcore gamer inside me that I’ve never seen before. I’m not really sure how this will give me knowledge about social science, but since my teacher got experience with this game, I assume he knows best. Being rich or poor in 2014 vs. being rich or poor in civilization 4. Middot; September 30, 2014. I totally agree with you! Where w...

Thougts after the CIV project. October 28, 2014. We are now finished with the civilization project we started a couple weeks ago. I read through my first blogpost where I wrote what my expectations were for this game, and I now realise that they’ve changed a bit. Even though i don’t think this is a suitable game for me, I think that games actually could be helpful as a learning tool. But of course, it depends on which game it is, and who the gamers are. Where would we be if we all were equal? You are com...

Being rich or poor in 2014 vs. being rich or poor in civilization 4. October 21, 2014. Civilization 4 compared to 2014 is a whole new world. Our century is based on technology and industry. Civilization however, is based on alliances and resources. This makes being rich and poor in the real world, and being rich and poor in civilization 4 two different things. How would we be able to transfer our huge amounts of food to our grocery shops without roads? Thougts after the CIV project. Here we go again.

Death Penalty | sahaeve
https://sahaeve.wordpress.com/2015/02/09/death-penalty
February 9, 2015. I care about the issue of Death Penalty because I am a regular citizen of the country and I care about what happens around me and what can happen to my family and friends. I would never forgive the country if I experience losing my loved ones and I think many would think the same. 1 Expensive to have Death Penalty. 2 The human rights are not followed. 4 Justice are not received with Death Penalty. Many of those who have lost their loved ones do not find justice in execution. It will...
