About - Inhabiting the Hack
http://inhabitingthehack.github.io/about
Is a collaborative research project examining the notions of innovation and creativity ingrained in digital culture. We will work with arts organisations in developing alternative styles of hack events, often informed by traditional arts activities such as residencies and retreats. The hacks all privilege diversity, collaboration and reflection, and are positioned in alternative and complementary disciplines and histories, provide a critical perspective on current practice.

Digital Media Labs - Inhabiting the Hack
http://inhabitingthehack.github.io/2015/09/25/digital-media-labs
Was one of the major inspirations for Inhabiting the Hack, and so we were very happy to include one of their residencies in our programme. In the words of one of the organiser-curators of the hack, Benedict Phillips:. After the success of Digital Media Labs 2014, it seemed inevitable that there would be another one and with the support of new project partners, Inhabiting The Hack and the Communities and Culture Network , our 2015 edition ‘Digital Outsiders’ came into being. We have often found that Digit...

Hoping in, hoping on, hoping long! The Gamble: A 2016 Poem. January 3, 2017. January 3, 2017. Of crazy things happened in the world in 2016, but the following poem is more of a reflection of a personal journey of which I am still chaotically in process than a commentary on recent events. I hope it can encourage you in your own life story. I’m limping into these first few days of 2017 with a wounded, yet living. Hope ( 1 Peter 1:3-5. I never expected to win,. To lay out my cards:. Inhabiting Oxford
Thursday, May 10, 2012. May, May, May. Yes, it's been awhile. I won't apologize about the amount of time that's passed since my last post (two months, not that anyone is counting), because I know that everyone who reads this blog wants me to be making the most of my time here. Even if that means falling behind on the chronicling for a bit, right? As Jean recently assured me, I'll have plenty of time to go back and write proper blog posts once I'm back in the States and missing Oxford. And so far, I've do...
