As a grand finale to our trip, Papa took us to Grand Lake- the biggest and deepest natural glacier lake in Colorado, as well as the headwaters for the Colorado River which runs through the Grand Canyon. Here, we rented a speedboat! We had ridden big ferries, little canoes, and smaller kayaks, but the thrill was on when we got to ride this fast wave-maker! A crew preparing to embark.
