The official blog of illustrator David Betts. Don’t mind no frowns…. I always find George Harrison’s “Cheer Down” to be a nice alternative form of optimism somehow…I’m always telling people to remember to smile and to be thankful for the things they have but the song suggests that being happy doesn’t have to equate to being all smiles and sunshine. The main thing I take from it though is that age old message to “just be yourself”. January 30, 2012. Filed under Random Stuff. Stars On the Ocean Floor.

The official blog of illustrator David Betts. January 25, 2012. Stars On the Ocean Floor. Sleeping soundly on the floor I dream a dream of blue. Play dear coral pipers. Play to clouds and swirling masses that crumple as one. Play to the sand that leaves me now as I. Rise into pearls above, lightened dots that draw me forth. Rise dear worthy dreamer. Rise above this single mass and ride the shower of sparkles to. Where I cannot say. Where I do not care nor do I open my eyes. Rush into the dark beyond that.

The official blog of illustrator David Betts. January 25, 2012. I’ve never been the sort of person who goes on holidays…which is a good thing seeing as I would never have been able to remotely afford to do so anyway. These days we barely even get out for day trips other than the wonderful experience of shopping but that’s just how things are at the moment. I like the idea of road trips too. January 25, 2012. Canvas of sand | The Ink Ghost

The official blog of illustrator David Betts. January 23, 2012. Oh, burning wanton eyes of mine. Reflections of the nonexistent. All is but sand caught up in the wind as. Grasping fingers claw the air for one. To hold somewhere and keep in desperate. Safety beneath the dull waves. Fire and water boiling within as I fall. Hands raking through the meaningful hues. Longing for the ocean. January 23, 2012. Filed under Creative Writing. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Ink Gin - Colour from Nature
Drinks News & Recipes. THE NATURE OF COLOUR. The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love colour the most. For hundreds of years gin was a clear spirit. We added colour. The colour of Ink Gin is derived from the deep infusion of petals from an exotic blue flower. This natural floral infusion gives Ink Gin a remarkable and lustrous quality, most elegantly displayed in our signature Ink & Tonic, which changes colour from deep blue to blush pink when mixed.
