Sunday, September 28, 2014. Coffee Plantation - Musica Maya. After Antigua we went to a coffee plantation. Which had I been a coffee drinker would probably have been more engrossing. Here are some of the machines used in coffee production. We learned WAY more about the planting, harvesting and preparation of coffee than I wanted. So, I wandered off from the group for a bit. These guys provided a bit of a break. And I found some flowers. Chuck stayed with the group and "learned stuff". Art of the masses.

Sunday, September 28, 2014. I think I mentioned before how amazing our driver was? He could navigate that enormous bus. Through streets where I would hesitate to take a small car. As we headed back to Guatamala City we passed a lot of crops grown on the sides of steep hills. We stopped for lunch at a place famous for it's meat products. Chuck was particularly impressed as he has made a foray into sausage making himself. It was a pretty rustic setup, but the food was delicious. Welcome back to snowy Idaho.

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. I love my family so much and was glad for the opportunity to reflect on the time I spent with my Grandma and cousins on this land and in her home. Our dogs LOVED being able to run all over the place! I'm surprised they didn't go into depression when we went home. LOVE these pictures of Haddie and "Papa"! Nap time with my sweet girl. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. My baby is growing up! My baby is 2 years old! I can't believe it! And I won't even begin to explain how much I love her because that would be a long post! She is talking so much these days and it is so fun! Even when she is being feisty. :) She loves books and she seems to favor Dr. Suess. She will sit and "read" her books sometimes and it is the cutest thing ever! We did a swim class together that she LOVED! She is now officially sleeping in a big girl bed and is doing great!

Friday, February 3, 2012. I never know what to title my posts. I think I have found that the less I blog, the more awkward my infrequent blog posts become. I think this is mainly because I feel the need to ramble when I haven't updated in months. Sssoooo. here are my ramblings! Life is pretty great around these parts. We got through the holiday season with only minimal(-ish) overspending on our daughter and we are coming up on her FIRST BIRTHDAY! Anyway, what post is worth anything without some pictures.

Tuesday, April 23, 2013. We had such a fun Easter this year! Haddie got two Easter egg hunts and lots of cousin time. Dave's parents always do an Easter egg hunt and BBQ at their house. We went to that first and then came back to our house for an egg hunt in our backyard. Michelle and her family came up and stayed with us. We love having them! And the weather was beautiful!
