May 10, 2014. I’m still following Bernice’s course. Even if my pages don’t seem to be strictly based on her fabulous inspirational videos and links what a treat it is to focus on our blessings. I just won’t have time to journal daily unless I just do small things. Sometimes life isn’t quite as easy as it is at others, but I know that being thankful to God for what I have is what keeps my head above water. Life is a gift😀. The Stampalot Challenge this month is Anything Goes,. So these will be my entries.

October 16, 2014. These two are from Gelli prints. Lynne and I did together a few weeks ago, using deli paper and various acrylics. These come from another avenue I’m currently exploring a long, ongoing story. And these are my latest journal pages, hot off the press. We played around with watercolour paper and water based dye inks, creating a misty looking background, then overstamped with pigment inks and heat embossed with clear powder. Here are the results. Some better than others, lol. Incidentally, if you haven’t yet tried the Tsukineko Delicata Gold inkpad, you really should! I have photos of most of the accordion cards, so I’ll upload them in a day or so.

I hope you enjoy my creations and ramblings. I bought a second hand embridery module for my bernina a few months ago and finally had the courage to unpack and try to connect to my machine. It took a while to read through the manual and do all the things you need to do but I was so pleased that when I sent an embroidery from my computer to the machine it actually worked. hurrah! Just another WordPress.com site. Raining on a Tin Roof. This morning, Mother Nature graced us with some precipitation which is always a bonus, especially if you’re a farmer or growing some fruit and vegetables in a garden. I couldn’t get out of bed which is normally the case when it rains. That got me thinking that I would totally love to hear the sounds of rain falling on a tin roof which is quite simply one of life’s simplest joys. Hope you all enjoy! It goes for ten hours too! Creme Brûlée on the mind.
