Sunday, 22 February 2015. DLP Week08: Worth Repeating. This week's assignment for the Documented Life Project. Is repeating elements with the journal prompt "worth repeating". After the shading of the elements, this is what my completed page looks like:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bookmarks for my school ...

Friday, 26 September 2014. Many of you are familiar with the technique of making paper beads, but have you tried making them out of Gelli prints? This is a great way of using up your less than gorgeous pulls. The beads will look great as long as there's some colour variation in your prints. Here are a few I made earlier today:. Gelli print paper beads. For those of you who may not be familiar with this technique, here's a quick tutorial. Making paper beads is super easy! Use toothpicks to roll the beads.
Inky Dinky Doodle: About
http://www.inkydinkydoodle.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
Welcome to my mixed media and art journaling playground! I started this blog in July 2014 soon after I had discovered mixed media and art journalling. I remember being so confused about all the supplies and techniques and feeling a little lost. If I could give just one piece of advice to anyone starting out on their creative journey, it would be to 'just do it'! Don't worry about what you can and can not do - anything goes! Experimenting is part of the fun! I wrote for a creative blog hop. PS Here's a pi...

Anyone is welcome to join in this fun blog hop, just head over to Julia Dunnit's Stamping Ground. I'll do my rou...

Life Is A Great Big Canvas, and You Should Throw All The Paint On It You Can" - Danny Kay. A Little Bit About Me. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Today is my Dad's 82nd birthday! I tried to make a masculine card for him real quick. Nothing fancy, just hand wrote on the inside,. I used a piece of patterned paper from my stash for the mat. I inked the edge of the card with ColorBox brush pad in black. The bakers twine is from WeRMemoryKeepers. The faux stitching is made using a Zig pen. Sarah J. Moerman.

Seasons Greetings to All! If you are one of my regular followers, you know how I procrastinate when it comes to taking photos of my projects. But I do try to keep busy and so enjoy the creating mode! Sadly though, I have found that far too often lately my energy soon wanes. So getting photos and blogging have taken a back seat.

Life Is A Great Big Canvas, and You Should Throw All The Paint On It You Can" - Danny Kay. A Little Bit About Me. Sunday, June 16, 2013. My father made a scrapbook 57 years ago, of his 'tour of duty' in the Air Force. He was stationed in Germany, and also visited Spain and Holland. He was around twenty five years of age at that time. His scrapbook consists of black and white photos, of course! The pages are all black cardstock and he wrote his memories in white ink. I will treasure them forever! I truly ...

What I want to do is to record and share those stories here and I'd love it if you would do the same. The Scribblings of an OCD scrapper. Tips Techniques and Tutorials. Ideas, Inspiration and Challenges. Sunday, 10 May 2015. I'm still working on UFOs from Scrapstars, not quite so much time to play this week, but I have another page to show you - this one was from a class with Louise Collins and shows my sister Mandy holding her little granddaughter Leila for the first time . One more close-up . I love the "artsy" feel of the finished page and will definitely have another go at creating a mixed media back...

Saturday, January 10, 2015. I have decided to start the new year by joining Maymay Made It. In creating an art journal to put Bible verses in. She explains it in this video. If this is something you might be interested in. I took the cover off a Canson Mixed Media journal and recovered it, including covering it with clear Con-tact paper. I kept it simple because I wanted to be sure I could keep the cover clean and undamaged. January 10, 2015 at 8:46 AM. About the pages - I tend to glue mine together befo...

Inky Dinky Doo
Creating art, one project at a time! On Monday, June 20, 2011. Here's what I found to hold my nail polish. So far it's big enough to hold it all. I know it won't be for long. I found it at K-Mart in the kitchen storage area, for about $8. I like that the bottles can stand upright and I can see everything. I've been bitten by the Nail Art bug! So it's been a few months since I posted, not that anyone is actually following LOL. Here's my latest obsession! I hope you like them as much as I like painting them.

Sunday, 5 April 2015. I even forgot to buy a chocolate egg for my kid. Not to worry, I told him we'll get two in the sales tomorrow. I don't have anything of my own to share with you today, so I'm sharing some of the artwork I received in the post earlier this week. First off are a couple of awesome tags I got from Karenliz Henderson from a G sharing group. On her Google page! Another wonderful piece of artwork I received came from Heather Kraafter. Founder of the Kraaft Shaak. And the Kraafters Kommunity.
