The Bare Necessities Project. Wednesday, 31 December 2014. The Russell Square London Plane Tree. There is also this one here. I also heard a rather good one on David Lynch over the Christmas Period, which I also recommend as he requests some great tracks and you can here that programme here. Progress roughly 35 hours in of the London Plane. Had me in stitches yesterday, which I suppose isn't ideal when holding a brush, but it lightened the soul. I think it was the. The Bare Necessities Project. Tuesday, 4 August 2015. Yellow Loosestrife ( Lysimachia vulgaris. First up has been the Yellow Loosestrife, which needless to say, is causing me some 'strife'. It's yellow for starters. not sure if any of you have noticed that I tend to stay away from that part of the spectrum? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Inky Leaves: February 2015

The Bare Necessities Project. Saturday, 28 February 2015. Pineapple - work in progress ( Ananas comosus. Thankfully, the Pineapple has really grounded me and helped me to focus. Trying to capture the intense range of colours in this subject is really difficult work, and that is distancing me from the more emotional aspect of painting. The pineapple is much more meditative, analytical and traditional. My little Sanctuary 27th February 2015. Sierra Nevada 27th February 2015. Thursday, 26 February 2015.

Botanical and Nature Art by Krzysztof Kowalski: Respect...garlic...
http://botanicalpainting.blogspot.com/2014/09/respectgarlic.html
Wednesday, 17 September 2014. It was a long journey, but finally I'm back and I feel I have new power to paint and create something new. But my hands also feel that they haven't been painting lately, so I have to start with something easy, just to exercise. To paint. I have a daylight lamp, I sometimes use it, but sunlight is sunglight :D. Ok so here is what I've done today:. It should be an easy bud! So I started this painting very slowly and I fell there are more surprises waiting for me. In botanical ...

Sunday, 27 July 2014. I had only 3 white pages left in my sketchbook (now I have only one), so I decided to sketch something more. I chose my Mom's favourite lilies from her garden. They are pink and they smell really beautiful. Unfortunately, during the painting I made a big splash of paint (well, it happens). I pretend that it was intended (of course it was! Botanical and Nature Art by Krzysztof Kowalski: Echium vulgare
http://botanicalpainting.blogspot.com/2014/07/echium-vulgare.html
Sunday, 27 July 2014. Nature is surprising me all the time. Today I wanted to sketch something, but I don't have any living plant now (I have a pine cone, but maybe later.). So I was browsing my photos and I hit on the Echium vulgare. The name of this plant is very interesting. Unfortunatelly I have no idea how it's called in english. Echium vulgare. Is in latin, and in polish it's called żmijowiec zwyczajny. The first word - żmijowiec. Means ordinary, common. Ink, a nib pen and watercolors! Thanks for s...
