Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Just before Christmas, our good friends, JJ and Christy, and their 4 girls came to stay with us for a couple days. The kids all piled in one room, and stayed up until the wee hours. They also set their alarm for 5am so they could get up and "talk"- I didn't know that talking was so cool at this age! I guess they couldn't get enough of each other. I only have 4 barstools, but everyone wanted to eat breakfast together, so they just squished in! And this is how I found Russ.

Wednesday, February 18, 2009. The After Christmas Christmas. Yah- that's a banana holder. Russ is always trying to mess with the kids, but I really don't know if he knew what that was at first. Monday, September 29, 2008. Our whole neighborhood and ward spent a lot of time on our trampoline. Sometimes people we didn't know would knock on our door and ask to try it. Besides getting the wind knocked out of me and some other's broken bones, I have so many fun memories on our trampoline. And I seem to be more grateful for fun memories than I use to be. Monday, December 22, 2008. Fun night with friends. I have known Christine since high school. I've known Karen since shortly after birth. My best friends are the ones I've had for a long, long time. Thursday, April 2, 2009. The morning of April 1st, we woke up with a rooster right outside our bedroom windows- crowing before 6am, just like he should. He came with a note attached, and we knew exactly who he came from. So to show them what we thought of that rooster, we set him and his cage out in the front yard with a new sign that said, "Bulk Trash.". We actually just wanted some attention.). Because this is what we really did with that rooster! You guys are so awesome! What was the response?

Wednesday, June 18, 2008. My poor little Makenna! Last week, she had a Frenulectomy done. She was so good and confident. She did great. She had to be sedated, and that worked out great. Thursday, April 16, 2009. Tyler got a butterfly habitat for Christmas, but I think I was the most fascinated watching them grow. First we got the teeny, tiny catterpillars, that you could hardly see. Only a week and a half later, they were big and fat! Shortly after that, they made their cocoons. And shortly after that, we had these bright orange butterflies! Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Last weekend was so much fun! 160;Did it have to end? My husband stayed home from work with the kids while I was gone. You would think he struggled to keep up with the kids. Monday, April 13, 2009. Last fall, Russ and I took a trip to the Big Apple for a work event. It was short, but great. We stayed at Times Square, saw Hairspray, shopped, and wandered around. We headed to the Murrow Awards where Russ accepted an award for KTAR. Sitting near us were Katie Couric, Solidad O'brien, Tim Russert's family, Lara Logan, Bob Woodruff, etc. Ahhh, real dessert. Why doesn't Phoenix have real desserts? It seems like we have to be in a coastal state to get this stuff. In Memory of Randy.
