October 30, 2014. November 2, 2014. Traveling to Mexico City. We left Washington Dulles Airport very early to catch our flight to Mexico which was only about 4 hours. We flew Aeromexico and my grandparents got to sit in first class. When we arrived in Mexico our driver met us at the airport and drove us to our hotel. Our Lady of Guadalupe – Mexico City 2014

November 1, 2014. November 1, 2014. Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mexico means the center of the moon which is why our lady is standing on the moon. We started our tour at the third church that was built in 1972 and it holds 20,000 people so it is very big and grand. The original poncho (Juan Diego’s coat) with a beautiful image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is hanging in this church. We also celebrated Mass. We could not visit the first church that was built in 1531, but we saw it high up on the hills.
