postcardsfrompaulie: Trees I have "known" at Mt. Rainier. . .
http://postcardsfrompaulie.blogspot.com/2008/08/trees-i-have-known-at-mt-rainier.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Trees I have "known" at Mt. Rainier. . . This will be my last entry on this blog as I have just about run out of photo space. Please join me over at PERBS. The new growth contrasts beautifully with the tree. The rock slides look like an angel on the left and Jesus on the right. The branches growing from the side of this trunk were contrasts from dead to fall colors to olive green. Can you see the SMILEY face in this tree trunk? Blue skies and snow! I liked this bent tree trunk!

Monday, December 31, 2007. A Foggy New Year's Eve 2007. This was how thick the fog was this morning,. I went out to run a few errands and the sun was trying to say hello. . . A couple hours later the sun was trying to peek out from behind the clouds. Not all trees are bare when they lose their leaves. . . Ok went and got close ups. . . I think a few of you guessed correctly about the kind of tree. This one had fallen on the ground. Well, lots had but I took a photo of that one. Sunday, December 30, 2007.

Gardening on the Coast: Are dandelions poisonous?
http://gardennerds.blogspot.com/2007/05/are-dandelions-poisonous.html
Gardening on the Coast. Gardening stuff from Dandelion Farm, our place on the coast of Virginia. Friday, May 4, 2007. I've received a couple of emails over the past few days asking me if dandelions are poisonous. I don't think so. Many people like the taste of dandelion greens, and I understand that the greens are high in Vitamins A, C, and iron. See Facts on Edible Greens in Maine. If the concern is about the dandelion flowers being poisonous, have you ever heard of dandelion wine? I came across your bl...

I can see why it's one of your favorites! I just googled to see what the altitude of the mountain is. Unbelievable! I like these steps as well. Susan...
