Just thought I'd share some of the things I'll miss from Honduras while on vacation. 1 Kid hugs. Is there anything better? 2 Weekend breakfast. It's amazing how a tortilla filled with potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes, cheese and eggs never gets old. 4 Reggaeton. I did however; find the reggaeton channel on my parents' tv at home.

My roommate Sarah's boyfriend, Nahun, made sopa de gorrobo. Otherwise known as iguana soup. It's a delicacy here. It was weird to see the little iguana bodies in our freezer. For. Twenty-Two. Minutes. Nonstop. Now I am at the point in my training (week 6 of 9) where my runs are all long runs and I have no more breaks in between. Sounds easy. But it's a total mental game. At least for a little bit. It really helps you to appreciate just how good we have it here. And also makes you think how weird things are all at the same time.
