Lanzhou is the beautiful capital of the district Gansu in north China, located in the southeast part of Gansu, with the bridge over the Huang He, the Yellow River. The district is located between Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, and the Huangtu Plateaus, and borders Mongolia to the north and Xinjiang to the west. In the southwest of the district, in the region Gannan, is the wonderful Labrang monastery located.
