Lou to You: What Could Be Better?
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015/08/what-could-be-better.html
Sunday, 9 August 2015. What Could Be Better? Yesterday, I rode my bike to the town of Guy (18km). Andree met me there and I loaded up my bike on the SUV. Then we drove to Five Star Golf Course. I'm not a golf nut. Went to relax, write, sit by the river, go out for their special Hawaiian supper, then join the gang on the beach for an open fire and the 11 pm fireworks. It was fun. While I was there I sat by the Smoky River and wrote in my journal. Stuck my feet in the water and picked rocks. He ate his fil...

Lou to You: May Sarton - Mentor
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015/08/may-sarton.html
Saturday, 15 August 2015. May Sarton - Mentor. May Sarton, (May 3, 1912 - July 16, 1995), an American poet, novelist and memoirist, is one of my favorite writers. I have all her books (except for her poetry) in my collection of "precious" books. Her books are getting harder and harder to find. So, imagine my delight when I saw two of them sitting on the shelf at the Rabbit Hole, a second hand bookstore, I felt pulled to go visit when in Grande Prairie this week. Did I come home with them? Want to know wh...

Lou to You: What Is He Going To Be?
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015/08/what-is-he-going-to-be.html
Friday, 7 August 2015. What Is He Going To Be? Not sure which way my little grandson, Finn's interest are going to go. He loves playing violin, drums, guitar, and trumpet. Now he's even got his own little break dancing routine going on. He's got the rhythm that's for sure. A musician? A rancher with a heard of cows? Or a hobby farmer? If you receive this post by email - you will have to go to the blog site to view the video above. Go to: http:/ loutoyou.blogspot.ca/. 11 August 2015 at 21:46.

Lou to You: August 2015
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 August 2015. Flexibility. I think that's the key to happiness. Or close to it. Sure makes life a whole lot easier to handle anyway. We can't stay stuck on rituals, plans, expectations, old habits, or we run the chance of being bumped around by life and the many curve balls that come our way. Here's a perfect example. The other day, Andree cleaned the utensil drawer and changed where the knives, forks, and spoons where placed. Who cares and why should it matter, right? Big hairy deal right?

Lou to You: May 2015
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 5 May 2015. On the Road Again! Eight hours on the road today and here I am in High River. I think I should have been a truck driver. Love the feeling of going somewhere. Makes me go places in my mind too. But right about now, after having a blasted headache since yesterday that just won't go away, I'm ready to grab some zzz's - just like this guy and hopefully tomorrow my head will feel better. Is this how it feels to have a hang-over I wonder? I don't get it! Sunday, 3 May 2015. A beautiful day...

Lou to You: June 2015
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 29 June 2015. Today I realized even further how we all strive for the same thing – the opportunity to belong, to feel part of the whole and to be who we are. We may not recognize it but this is our quest in life - a Search for Oneness. Sunday, 28 June 2015. Took off to Grande Prairie hospital early this morning to go visit a dear friend who had surgery yesterday. Thought I'd only be there for an hour but it was 3 hours later by the time I left. Thursday, 25 June 2015. Sometimes there's just so ma...

Lou to You: April 2015
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 30 April 2015. Today I Intend To Focus On. Making the world right in the only way I know how – by doing the right thing myself, by continuing to ask for guidance for myself and for everyone else so we can be on the Red Road, not only as individuals but as a family, a community, a nation and a world. My focus is to live Oneness so that those who come into my life can also feel this Oneness and want to make it part of their lives too. Here in this small way, right here, right now, this is my focu...

Lou to You: Imitating Art.
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015/08/imitating-art.html
Wednesday, 12 August 2015. This is the best picture of my often serious, task oriented daughter ever. Here she is - playful. Artistic. Expressive. Joyful. And totally in the moment. I just love it! Wouldn't it be fun to do this kind of thing everyday? Walk around the cities and take on the same poses as the statues and various pieces of art. My voice doesn't carry worth a darn. But maybe, just maybe with a hidden microphone I could have done something. I wonder what this secret desire means?

Lou to You: Passion Stirs
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015/08/passion-stirs.html
Tuesday, 11 August 2015. Passion - sometimes I'm burning with it and I don't know what to do with it. I look at this poppy, the first that came up and bloomed in the many I planted, and boom, there it is making me all bubbly inside. It ignites my passion to live, to survive, to thrive, to come alive, to stand in my truth and to to find words to express myself and share that with the world. I read this quote today and this too ignited my passion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Write, write, write.

Lou to You: Fell Through The Crack
http://loutoyou.blogspot.com/2015/08/crashed.html
Monday, 3 August 2015. Fell Through The Crack. The slight sore throat and heaviness of the morning turned nasty. I ached everywhere, my head felt heavy, then I started feeling chilled and feverish. We had several visitors drop by but they came to join me on the back deck where I spent the afternoon and evening sitting or lying in my lounge chair under a blanket even though it was sunny and 27 degrees. I'll show them who's boss! I have the sound of my fountain behind me, the wind rustling through the leav...
