A gas geyser supplies hot water for the shower and basins. Smoking is prohibited in the houses. The spacious lounge provides enough place for puzzle-building or reading. Each cottage has an outside braai and the lapa offers a shady place where guests can gather around the braai. (wood available). A huge natural swimming hole will offer a welcome respite during the summer months. Regretfully we cannot allow pets as this is a wilderness area. We have wood available for sale.

We have over 130 birds on our bird list which includes a number of once-in-a-life time sightings such as the African Finfoot, Knysna Warbler, Crested Flycatcher and Narina Trogan. Knysna Loeries with their bright red and green plumage are a familiar sight. Their signature calls can be heard even if it might be tricky to spot them amid the foliage. The campsite is a large grass-covered area surrounded by shady, indiginous trees. Five double electric points provide electricity to the campers. There are two communal braai areas for our guests: the lapa offers a shady place where guests can gather around the braai and the fire pit is ideal for long night time kuiers.
