So Finally I have some time to post. And I'm on my way to being healthy again, thank God. I hate being sick. A lot. Off to bed for now, I think. Will post more over the weekend. I promise. Chronicles of Newfoundland: Mmmm

http://www.inpursuitofentropy.blogspot.com/2006/05/mmmm.html

There is seriously no better feeling that going to bed on a Sunday night, knowing that you don't have to get up and go to work on Monday morning. I love long weekends! Ok, maybe one better is waking up that Monday morning, at about 9pm, and staying in bed, lazing around and reading all day. Yum. The only other thing on my agenda for today is to write an email to a would-be grad school supervisor. What in hell am I supposed to say to him? Posted by sarah at 3:47 PM. Anyway I was/am very lucky.

http://www.inpursuitofentropy.blogspot.com/2006/09/so-im-pretty-sure-my-house-has-some.html

So I'm pretty sure my house has some sort of time warp in it or something. Not 5 minutes ago, my clock was saying 9.40pm, and I was going to watch the House episode that Abhi burned, and now it's 10.52. I know I didn't fall asleep or anything because my Neocitran is still hot. Weird. School has been in for a bunch of weeks now, so I suppose I'm officially settled. It's not too bad. There's a lot of studying to do (4 tests already! And in true form, I have done very little work. I really have to pull ...

Chronicles of Newfoundland: MOC, God and Canada Day

http://www.inpursuitofentropy.blogspot.com/2006/06/moc-god-and-canada-day.html

MOC, God and Canada Day. A quick warning to my readers: This post is likely to be somewhat controversial as far as religion is concerned. I don't mean to offend anyone. (But honestly, it's my blog so I can post whatever the hell I want.) It's also probably going to be sad, and pensive. Just so you know. So I went to Mitchell Emms's. Are all our ancestors hanging out with him peaking down through the clouds? I think I've had enough of this soul-searching business for tonight. I think I am going to Mon...

What do you guys think of this background/font business? I really like it on my laptop at home, but I have seen it on other computers and the font isn't very contrasty against the black. But my computer has the purple and teal as very bright and easy to see. Is it too dark? Posted by sarah at 11:12 PM. MOC, God and Canada Day. So I went to Mitchell Emms's. Ok, I take it back. Off to bed, I guess.market tomorrow (finally! Posted by sarah at 10:52 PM. 1980s hurts my soul. Ok, guys. Can someone please tell me whose idea it was to bring back the 80s? Sure, a few good things came out of that decade (namely, me), but FASHION was not one of them. And a multitude of other cultural icons which defined our generation, but that does not mean I want to relive it. Even worse, seeing it on protestots. Or shoulder pads. :S. What doesn’t kill you. In Pursuit Of Adventure. Is, “an undertaking usually involving danger or unknown risks.”. 8230;and that doesn’t sound like me at all. I think these experiences have added to the tapestry of my life in a way that makes me a more interesting person, and they are also thoughts that I can lean on each time I feel like I’m facing some insurmountable task or obstacle. I guess what doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger. Do any of you have some memorable adventures to share?

In Pursuit of Cheese

Wednesday, March 16, 2011. This week I had the honor of being a guest on KMOV TV, St. Louis. It was great to share Missouri cheese from Baetje Farm, Goatsbeard Farm and Green Dirt Farm. The host, Carol, loved all the cheese! The cheeses were paired with wine from my neck of the woods. Hermannhof Winery provided the fruit of the vine for the show. Fast forward and here I am at the Ozark Folk School. City gal one day, country girl the next. Gotta love it! BTW flowers are blooming here! Not only will you fi...
