Insectoid Hive Home Page. Gripper and Hexapod walker kits purchased from Lynxmotion. I modified 14 HiTec Servo motors as follows:. 1) Removed internal servo control electronics. 2) Connected a 5 conductor cable to the motor and potentiometer within each servo. Spectrum Digital TMS320C549VC DSP Board using a 100MIP DSP. Bypass and Filter Capacitors. Connectors to DSP Board. As I have time, I will place more of the design info on this web site. 1) Mechanical Assembly - Done. 4) Electrical assembly - Started.
