Friday, October 29, 2010. Getting bucked, and trying a lope. Last month, riding Shiloh. Today when I went to Claudia's house, I rode Shiloh, her beautiful flea-bitten gray fifteen year old Quarter Horse gelding. His feet hurt him, so she put his special boots on. We tried a lope (it's a little slower than a canter). He protested with me, bumping his hindquarters up. Claudia got him going at a lope, and then he bumped his hindquarters up because his feet hurt. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Twenty inches of snow! I have NEVER in my ENTIRE LIFE ever seen THIS MUCH SNOW! My dad pointed out that if we put Oliver out there, he wouldn't even be able to walk! The snow is all the way up our fence, and over my dad's bumper on his car! I got up at about six to get some water. When I looked outside, I thought, "Wow! Sunday, February 6, 2011. We got a new cat about a month or so ago. She's absolutely perfect! My mom went to the store, got food and a food and water tray, and got her a litter box and a little home. We named her Chloe. She's a tiger cat, and she's full grown. She isn't declawed or fixed, but we're going to get her fixed as soon as we can. Saturday, October 9, 2010. I got my hair cut! I got my hair cut! It looks nice now, and it's really short. The reason I got it cut is because I was hot, and because I wanted to see how it looked. My mom said I looked older. She really likes it, and so do I. It looks so.neat. But it feels weird to put my hand on my neck and feel that nothing is there.
